Exploring Africa is often on the bucket list of many intrepid travellers from around the world, regardless of any physical impairments. There’s a great saying in Africa: “we’ll make a plan” – and this is arguably no more true than when it comes to organizing trips for those with varying levels of physical challenges – whether it be mobility, hearing or visual challenges.
We’ve been able to organize trips for wheel-chair bound travellers throughout East and Southern Africa – we liaise with our clients and work out what adjustments need to be made to a trip / a vehicle or even on a gorilla trek, to enable you to be able to enjoy these ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ experiences. And the truth is, they don’t have to be ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ – there are so many corners of Africa to explore, that you can keep coming back time and time again!
Travelling throughout Africa can be daunting for members of the LGBTQ+ community. Over the years we’ve been incredibly proud to work with many singles/couples and groups in the community to advise and carefully plan incredible safari options – whereby safety and respect underpin a memorable vacation.
Of course, often the LGBTQ+ community wants nothing more than to be treated just as any hetero-normative travellers would be; however, the reality is that travelling in some parts of Africa, where the laws may be different to back home, can require some further consideration or discussions.

Over the years we’ve worked with high-net-worth individuals, A-list celebs and some international sporting stars. These types of trips can be surprisingly ‘normal’, or may require special attention – all subject to our client’s preferences. We’ve welcomed celebs who want nothing more than to be ‘treated as normal’, and other times, a much higher level of privacy is required. We’re able to organize additional security, private jets and specialized catering if need be.
