Much of the exploration of Central and Northern Kenya was done using caravans of camels. These days, a range of properties in the area pay homage to history and offer camel trekking as an activity. This is a good one for kids and no previous riding experience is necessary (how many people have camel riding experience anyway?). We do also work with a number of operators who can organize multi-day camel treks for those who are looking for an incredibly unique safari experience!
