Overview
- Tanda Tula, which means “to love the quiet”, is inspired by the people and wildlife-rich region. Offering 3 different camps under the portfolio: Field Camp – the most basic of the three camps, Safari Camp (which is undergoing renovations and will be re-opened mid-2023) and Plains Camp, the most luxurious of the 3.
- Safari activities at Tanda Tula are simple: game drives, bush walks and bush dining; the iconic “Big 5” are all located in the Timbavati region, so although slightly contrived, successful game viewing is basically guaranteed
- The Timbavati region is considered a “low risk” malaria area
