Overview
- Right within the Moru Kopjes area, in the southern region of the Central Serengeti – this camp is ideally situated to witness the annual migration and the Big Five with sweeping views overlooking Moru Kopjes, Lake Magadi and the endless Serengeti plains. Seronera airstrip is a short one hour flight from Arusha airport, and a 50 minute drive from camp.
- The camp’s nostalgic design really evokes the very best of a bygone era but certainly not forgotten: a tribute to the mobile safari camps of the 1930’s, a time when an African safari was truly a journey into the unknown (and it still is!).
- Serengeti Pioneer Camp comprises 12 tents, including a two bedroom family tent, all with en-suite facilities including a flushing toilet, vanity basin and showers.
