Overview
- Located in Kenya’s Northern Frontier District on the Namunyak Conservancy which encompasses the entire Mathews Range, Sarara is an intimate, owner-run camp.
- This tented camp is named after the ‘Sarara’ singing wells where the community water their cattle during the dry season; Sarara means ‘meeting place’ in the local Samburu language.
- It offers six luxury ensuite tents, each positioned to maximise the stunning views of the Mathews Range of mountains and the animal watering hole. Each tent comes with an outdoor bathroom with toilet, hand basin and shower that offers magnificent views of the mountains.
- The private house has two ensuite bedrooms which share a sitting and dining area overlooking a private pool.
- Activities here include horse riding, guided walks, visiting conservation projects, also night game drives are allowed in the conservancy.
