Overview
In Western Tanzania, right in the center of Katavi National Park, lies Mbali Mbali Katavi. The lodge offers an exciting bush experience with breathtaking views over the vast plains of Katisunga. Its 10 safari tents (6 doubles, 2 twins & 2 family tents) have been designed to blend in with its surroundings.
This place is ideal if you are looking for a truly remote experience. Game viewing is exceptionally rewarding at Katavi due to the sheer abundance of wildlife and herds of animals can be seen right from your tent. Especially the flotillas of pelican are a special sight in this particular part of the park. Game drives usually center around the woodland areas along the seasonal lakes, where most of the game can be found, including the big cats. Night game drives can be included during your stay here.
