Overview
- In a remote corner of Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park lies Kapamba, a camp that combines the isolation and superb game-viewing opportunities of a true bushcamp with touches of luxury.
- Set on the banks of the shallow, spring-fed eponymous river, Kapamba is surrounded by some of the national park’s richest wildlife. The main living and dining area is positioned under a huddle of matumi and sausage trees, opening onto an extended deck with a swimming pool, and boasting views of the Kapamba River.
- The four spacious open-fronted chalets are cool, simple in style, and furnished in a contemporary, utterly original African style. The wide verandas and twin showers offer views of the river.
- Get out into the bush and explore the rich diversity of the surrounding area on a morning, afternoon or evening game drive. When back at the camp, why not enjoy your well-deserved G&T from the middle of the river itself, with your feet dipped in the cool, crystal shallows? When the weather is right, you can spend siesta time in the Kapamba River – right in front of camp!
