Overview
- Located within a private concession, between Tarangire and Lake Manyara, Chem Chem is a luxurious eco-lodge surrounded by acacias and palm trees amidst rolling grassland.
- The lodge can be easily accessed via a 3,5 hour road transfer from Kilimanjaro International Airport, 2 hour drive from Arusha, or 1,5 hour drive from Manyara Airstrip.
- Has just eight tent-style suites, including one for family use. Each suite has its own private veranda, from where you can gaze across the grassland and spot wildlife. The concession is home to a good variety of predators and especially herbivores, it’s not uncommon to spot giraffes and zebras grazing on the plains just meters from the lodge!
- In the private concession guided game drives and walking safaris are available. A wide variety of activities are on offer for the whole family; like tracking, spear throwing, making bows-and-arrows, and playing football!
- The lodge offers a complete range of services for a comfortable stay, including a lounge and dining area, a bar, beautiful viewing deck, gym and spa, fire-pit and swimming pool.
