This luxurious itinerary includes a wonderful selection of romantic properties that provides you with an incredible ‘view’ of Tanzania – you just might fall in love! Spend a night in Arusha to recover from long-haul flights before setting off to experience Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater region and the remote and secluded Northern Serengeti, before ending your safari with a four night stay on the tropical island of Zanzibar.

Overview

Day 1

Upon arrival into Kilimanjaro you will be met and transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge where you will spend one night.

Day 2 – 3

Experience Tarangire as you spend three nights at Oliver’s Camp. Tarangire is famed for huge herds of elephants, birding and beautiful baobab trees. Night drives, walking safaris, fly camping, star gazing and being able to watch animals right from the comfort of the camp are all unique to Oliver’s (note: some activities are subject to additional cost).

Day 4

Fly to the Ngorongoro Crater area where you’ll be met on arrival and transferred to the truly unique camp The Highlands where you will spend three nights. There is no other camp quite like The Highlands – in short, it’s remarkable!

Day 5

You descend into the Ngorongoro Crater and experience a game drive on the crater floor. You have a good chance at seeing the critically endangered Black Rhino.

Day 6

Enjoy your day as you wish… Go for a hike in the remote Empakaai Crater, visit an incredibly authentic local Maasai village or simply relax in camp.

Day 7 – 9

Begin your adventure by flying into the remote northern sector of the Serengeti where you stay at Sayari Camp. Enjoy dramatic views, great year-round game viewing and luxurious accommodation – you might not want to leave!

Day 10 – 14

Fly to Zanzibar where you will be met and transferred to Matemwe Retreat. For the next four nights be treated like royalty in your own private villa; complete with butler service and a private roof top pool and sun deck! From Matemwe, you can also experience world-class diving, snorkelling, village walks and more are available to keep you entertained (subject to additional cost).

Day 15

Your final day in East Africa before flying across to Dar Es Salaam where you will catch your onward flight home.
